Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

By using recipe-pdf ("the service"), you agree to the following terms.

What the service does

You provide a link to a social media post or recipe article, and the service attempts to extract the recipe (title, ingredients, steps, and related details) into a formatted PDF for your personal use.

No warranty on accuracy

Recipe extraction is automated and imperfect. Ingredient quantities, steps, and other details may be incomplete, misread, or incorrectly parsed from the source. Always double-check a generated recipe — especially quantities and cook times — before relying on it. The service is provided "as is," with no guarantee that any given link will be processed successfully or accurately.

Content and copyright

The service extracts information from content you don't own and that we don't own — it belongs to whoever originally posted it. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use (e.g. keeping a copy of a recipe you want to cook), not for republishing, redistributing, or commercially exploiting someone else's content. You're responsible for how you use the PDFs the service generates.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

We reserve the right to block access for anyone abusing the service.

Availability

This is a small, independently run project. It's not guaranteed to be available at all times, and features may change or be discontinued without notice.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge, as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on an inaccurate generated recipe.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will reflect it. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
